Post Theatre Royal, London - May 4, 1980?
I have a vinyl bootleg called "Genesis in Concert" on the Swiss "Gold Records" label, WARSTR 3-C. It says it's from 4 May 1980 at the Theater Royal in London. I don't see that date in the live database here, just May 5 at the same venue. It looks like they did play two nights there, though, so is this a recording that isn't in wide circulation?

And if this recording isn't it wide circulation, how do I get it that way? I don't have a record player anymore, so it would either have to wait until I get one to properly interface with my digital equipment, or someone else will have to copy the thing for me.

Here's the track listing from the back of the sleeve:

Side One:
1. Dancing With the Moonlit Knight
2. Carpet Crawlers
3. Squonk
4. Behind the Lines

Side Two:
1. Duchess
2. Guide Vocal
3. Turn It On Again
4. Ripples

Side Three:
1. In the Cage / Raven
2. Afterglow
3. Follow You, Follow Me
4. Carpet Crawlers*

Side Four:
1. I Know What I Like
2. The Knife
3. Back in NYC*

*Recorded on 1975 British Tour

The cover has an anachronistic ink drawing of Steve, Tony, Phil, and Mike.

Can anyone shed more light on this bootleg?

Blake

Yes, that's it! I thought the date might be wrong, but not the venue, too, or I might have found it in the database myself! Thanks.

Are we absolutely certain this is the Lyceum show? I can't listen to it myself to do an A-B comparison. I'm thinking about getting rid of my vinyl stuff (torrent sites like this one make them pretty pointless), but I want to make certain I'm not tossing out something that would be of value, particularly since the tour dates for Duke seemingly did include a May 4 date at the Drury Lane Theatre that isn't listed as a circulated recording.
