Post Need help identifying this Selling England Boot
Hey all:

I'm listening to a Genesis show that i'm having trouble identifying. It came to me listed as "Apr 2, 1974." Problem is, there's no entry for that show in the database. So, I'm trying to figure out what night it's really from. Here are a few clues:

-- During Peter's initial greeting to the crowd, he says a loud "HI," and someone very near the taper says "Howdy" is response. From the accents, these folks sound like they're in the USA or possibly Canada.

-- Prior to the Britannia story before "Moonlit Knight," Peter mentions some passing problems with the lights.

-- After "Moonlit Knight," Peter says "thank you," to which a woman somewhat near the recorder says a quiet "you're welcome."

-- The story prior to "Cinema Show" involves Romeo finding a fig leaf covering his privates. He boils the fig leaf into a tea, which produces a high degree of excitement.

The recording quality itself is about average for this tour. Not horrible, but definitely not stellar by any stretch.

Any clues? Help is most appreciated. Please reply here or e-mail me at ron2112@cox.net

Peace,
Ron

All:

Looks like I figured it out....it's the 4/5/74 Ft Wayne show. The track times match.

Peace,
Ron
